Cancellation and
Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to registration for Dysautonomia School™ in-person and live workshop events developed by Elevate Care Institute, LCC. This policy supplements the Terms and Conditions and governs all refund matters.

Course Cancellation by
Elevate Care Institute, LLC

Approximately two weeks (14 days) prior to a scheduled workshop, we will assess registration numbers to determine whether the workshop will proceed. If we determine the workshop will not move forward due to insufficient enrollment, all registered participants will receive a full refund of their registration fee.

We aim to make this determination with enough lead time for participants to seek refunds or adjustments for related travel and lodging arrangements; however, Elevate Care Institute is not responsible for any travel, lodging, or other costs incurred in connection with a cancelled workshop. We encourage participants to review the cancellation policies of their travel and lodging providers, and to consider travel insurance for non-refundable arrangements.

If we must cancel a workshop for reasons other than enrollment (e.g., presenter illness, venue issues, or circumstances beyond our control) at any point before the event, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to a future workshop date.

Participant-Initiated Cancellations

If you need to cancel your own registration, refunds are issued according to how far in advance of the workshop start date we receive your written cancellation request:

Timing of Cancellation Request:

  • 31 or more days before the workshop → Full refund, minus a $50 processing fee

  • 17–30 days before the workshop → 50% refund, minus a $50 processing fee

  • 16 days or fewer before the workshop → No refund

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@dysautonomiaschool.com. The date we receive your written request determines which refund tier applies, not the date you originally intended to cancel.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 of approval.

No Shows

Participants who do not attend the workshop without submitting a prior written cancellation request are treated as a cancellation within 16 days of the event and are not eligible for a refund.

Transfers as an Alternative to Cancellation

Instead of cancelling, you may transfer your registration to:

  • Another eligible individual, at no additional charge, provided we receive notice before the workshop begins; or

  • A future Dysautonomia School™ workshop date, subject to availability, at any time before the original workshop begins, at no additional charge.

Transfers are not subject to the processing fee described above, since no refund is being issued.

Continuing Education Credit

Refunds and transfers apply only to the registration fee. No continuing education credit is issued for a workshop that was not attended, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Extenuating Circumstances

We understand that emergencies happen. Requests for exceptions to this policy due to documented medical emergencies or other extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Submitting such a request does not guarantee an exception will be granted.
